Ventures.eu Fund I is a CMVM-regulated, closed-ended venture capital fund with privileged access to the best European high-growth technology-driven startups. The fund invests in deeptech with a focus on PropTech, Construction Tech and Energy, targeting startups with significant growth potential and clear paths to profitability. The fund leverages a close relationship with Europe's and US largest corporates with whom we have been holding matchmaking events with startups (Galp, OMV, Vattenfall, P&G, Coca-Cola, ABB, AB InBev, Unilever, among many others) to find the first reference clients for the startups in which we invest, as well as to build a business case for a potential acquisition. We also offer the opportunity to have an active role in supporting startups, which, if in a Board position in a startup, can also enable the Investor to benefit from the IFICI tax benefits if he wants to move to Portugal. Our first Golden Visa investor reviewed for himself 40 Portuguese Golden Visa Funds and came to Lisbon to meet the 6 top ones in his opinion. He also took part in one of our Corporate Days with ABB to see us in action. He's available to have a call with potential investors and give his view of the Fund. The fund takes minority equity stakes with active management involvement and strategic support, aiming to achieve capital appreciation through portfolio companies' growth and strategic exits. With a primary focus on Portuguese SMEs and up to 40% allocation to other EU markets, the fund provides investors exposure to Europe's most innovative technology companies.
