Afonso Ferreira joined Heed Capital in January 2024 as an Investment Analyst, supporting the CIO and fund managers across the firm’s securities funds. His work spans portfolio analysis, equity and fixed-income research, and financial modelling, including the development of the analytical framework currently used within the Alternative Funds department. Before joining Heed, Afonso completed an internship in mergers and acquisitions at BNP Paribas, contributing to sell-side mandates in the retail and hospitality sectors and preparing financial analyses and pitch materials. He began his career at WINNING Scientific Management as a consultant, where he supported project management and business analysis functions. Afonso holds master’s degrees in Finance from Católica Lisbon and Management from ESCP Business School and has passed the CFA Level I exam.
