Pedro Geada

Pedro Geada brings a rare combination of deep technical expertise and large-scale leadership to Heed Capital’s Board. With an academic background that spans engineering, computer science and management, he has spent more than three decades building and leading technology teams across different industries and company stages. Over his career, Pedro has launched and managed tech businesses, scaled engineering hubs from small start-up teams to organisations with more than 1,500 people, and overseen complex digital platforms with substantial budgets. Much of this work has been in highly demanding sectors, such as financial services and media/telecommunications, where reliability, performance, and user experience are non-negotiable. Today he serves as a non-executive Board Member at Heed Capital, helping to guide the firm’s digital evolution. Drawing on recent experience as CTO and strategic adviser to multiple companies, he brings a hands-on understanding of AI, software engineering and product delivery to board-level discussions. Colleagues often describe Pedro as a first-principles thinker who combines clarity, curiosity, and a strong ethical compass. His contribution at Heed centres on using technology to create a robust, scalable infrastructure that supports investors, partners, and the firm’s long-term strategy.
