About
Fernando Fonseca has more than three decades of financial and operational experience across banking, consumer finance and investment management. He began his career in the hotel sector in 1989 before moving into finance in 1996 with Banco BBM in Brazil. Over the following years he built broad executive expertise at institutions including Unibanco, Banco Máxima and Banco Brasil Plural, working across back-office leadership, lending, capital markets, asset management and operational oversight. Alongside his banking career, Fernando also advised companies through Tagus Consultoria and supported investment initiatives in Brazil. He joined Heed Capital in 2019 and played a key role in launching the Aston Gold Fund. Today he applies his extensive cross-sector background to fund management, combining a practical operational mindset with a strong understanding of financial markets.
