Pedro Alves is Heed Capital’s Chief Investment Officer, bringing more than two decades of hands-on experience in portfolio management, market analysis and fund strategy. His career began at Ernst & Young as an information systems auditor, where he developed a rigorous analytical approach that would shape the rest of his professional path. He soon transitioned into the investment world, joining Valour Alternativo as a hedge fund analyst and later moving to Dunas Capital, where he spent more than a decade managing diversified investment strategies. Pedro joined Heed over 20 years ago and has been part of the firm’s investment department since day one. He initially worked as an analyst before stepping into portfolio management in 2010, a role in which he navigated multiple market cycles and helped refine the firm’s investment framework. In 2023, he became Chief Investment Officer, taking responsibility for leading investment strategy, asset allocation and research across the firm's funds. Known for his disciplined style and steady judgement, Pedro combines technical depth with a calm, long-term approach to markets. His leadership strengthens Heed’s commitment to responsible investment, robust risk management and delivering consistent value for investors.
